RWSL Wiki Assignment

Everyone needs to make one additional edit to the Wiki:

Include a link to your topic page on your individual page

In addition please make sure that:
1. the reflection from assignment 1 relates to your topics not the
experience of the assignment
2. there is a link to your individual page on RWSL Wiki Index
3. there is a link to your topic page on RWSL Wiki Index

Creating Links Within a Page in the Wiki

The assignment requires that you include your references as links to a numbered list at the end of the page.
It takes a small amount of work to create anchors and links to them.

I've created a test page to demo how it works - that has a single link jumping to a single anchor.

Basically in the page you want to include anchors in, you have to insert an anchor first using HTML Javascript
Enter the name of the anchor and associated text as HTML
<a name="anchor_name">Target Text</a>

Don't worry about where the anchor tags appear - put all of them at the start or end - they won't show
up in the view just in the edit.

Then insert the link as normal linking to  http://ditrwsl2012.pbworks.com/PageName#anchor_name
Replacing with your page name and your anchor name.

Assignment #2 - Key Points

The deadline for Assignment #2 is Saturday Nov 24th @ 5pm

To complete the assignment you need to:

• Create an individual profile page using the profile page template.
• Create a topic page using the topic page template.
• You need to include a link on RWSL Wiki Index for both your individual and your topic.
• You need to comment constructively on at least 2 peoples pages.

Please Note:

• To create your pages Copy the template page. Do not Edit this page.
• The section on reflection on assignment #1 should be related to the topics and should be edited to focus on the topics in which you were interested and which direction you think you are going.
• Once you have created the topic page, complete the reflection on assignment #2 on your individual page.

This assignment is an opportunity to put some structure on your thinking. I am not looking for in-depth analysis of numerous papers. I am looking for an brief overview of the topic you are interested in, a description of some current research that you have found that is interesting to you, a number of topics you think you could research further.

• Use the Google Spreadsheet at http://mashe.hawksey.info/2012/01/twitter-archive-tagsv3/

• if you do use this leave the url as google, enter your name or search term, select run from the TAGS menu 
• it will create a collection you can access from the tabs at the bottom of the screen
